Fogram Enterprises is the design and advisory practice of Fred Ogram, ASLA, PLA — three decades of landscape architecture, land art, and resort, aquatic, and luxury estate design across five continents.
In the tradition of Ian McHarg’s Design with Nature and Frank Lloyd Wright’s organic architecture — designing with the land, never against it, so the built environment seems to have grown from its site.
Principal-level design leadership and licensed practice across five western states.
Site-specific public art and sculptural landscape installations.
Masterplanning and amenity design for destination resorts and private club communities.
Water features, spas, and resort aquatic environments — with published thought leadership in sustainable construction.
From legacy private estates to branded residential communities.
Market strategy, business development, and design-build operations for the built-environment industry.

For more than 30 years, Fred has shaped environments on five continents — private club communities in Hawaii and Montana, international resorts in Costa Rica and the Caribbean, and elite aquatic environments for America’s most ambitious residential developments. His work has been recognized in industry awards and publications, and his service includes eleven years chairing the Idaho State Board of Landscape Architects.
In the course of my 34 years in the architectural profession, I have had the opportunity to work with a number of landscape architects… I can say without reservation that none have been more professional nor a pleasure to work with than Fred Ogram.
His projects finish on time, on budget, and the designs are exactly what the customer envisioned. Fred is a true master of landscape architecture and design.
Fred is both an artist of Landscape Architecture, and a scientist in his vision… He takes time to care for those he works with, is an incredible mentor, and works with compassion and kindness towards both clients and co-workers.
